Just across the motorway bridge, 4 Kms away from Pissouri you'll find Wild Valley Resort. They do guided tours of the 200,000sq.m. Ostrich farm in a 4x4 jeep for a couple of pounds each. They also show an educational video. There is a superb restaurant, serving Ostrich Steaks, burgers, sausages plus much, much more. There is a large playground area for children, you could easily spend half a day here.

The Olive Oil Museum at Anogyra Village is only a ten minute drive from Pissouri and is worth a visit. You can see the history of olive oil production from time gone by; watch them crush and produce organic olive oil using state-of-the-art machinery. There is also a restaurant and a souvenir shop, both of which are of a good standard.

According to the legend, Aphrodite, goddess of love and beauty, rose from the waves in this strikingly beautiful spot.
The Greek name, Petra tou Romiou, is associated with the legendary frontier guard who kept the marauding Saracens at bay. It is said that he heaved this large rock into the sea destroying the enemy’s ship.

Curium Equestrian Centre is situated at Curium Bay, just below the ancient Curium archaeological site and is only a twenty minute drive from Pissouri.
Timi market car boot sale is open every Sunday from 8.am until 1.30pm. It's about fifteen minutes drive from Pissouri, near the Paphos airport road. It's very popular with the British, and there are usually bargains to be found.
If you're within the Timi area - especially on a Sunday - drive to the next village up, called Nata, where you will find Periklis tavern, probably the best Sunday lunch buffet around.

Pafos Bird & Animal Park at Peyia Village
The park is situated 15kms from Pafos and 6 Kms past Coral Bay. Follow the coastal road through Coral Bay/Peyia junction towards Saint George area then follow the Pafos Bird & Animal Park indicator panels to the park.
The park is situated in over a 100.000 sq.m. of parkland, surrounded by the magical sounds of birds and waterfalls. It has a Sensational Daily Parrot Show . A Souvenir Gift Shop, Handicraft Centre, Art Gallery, Traditional Style Restaurant and Snack Bar are available. A lovely day for a family outing!
